Re: Part II

As I have stated clearly in the last response to the same issue, I don't know if in the response I made to your very biased & unfair view cum misrepresentation of what @PenAbdull said, unless mischief is intended, the point he made was sincere, honest & unambiguous.
To put the records straight, many of us are not just supporting our wives to work/study, we are physically taking part in it. Thus, the argument did not even rise as to whether women are insisting on work because they know their marriage will fail. Marriages fail everywhere.
That tweet by Ustaz Abdul was, I believe part of a topic he has discussed in one of his several beneficial classes & the beneficiaries have always been glad learning about the things they did not know in religion, from both men & women. We are all beneficiaries of his knowledge.
Thus, your call to "address the root cause" again prompts the ill-motive that might be surrounding the attacks on him. Those that do attend his class know how frequent he speaks about the ills of men in marriages in our society & Islamic ways to fix them. So many times. So many.
This is the same person that in addition to giving his whole life addressing societal issues has always been an advocate of having marriage workshops to both men & women, an act he has started implementing & is planning to take it even higher. Guidelines & responsibilities!
As to your statement on Pessimism & Bad-Omen, both are two terms Islam has forbidden. While bad-omen is a belief, it leads to pessimism. Let me refer you to a statement by Al-Halimi, in Minhaj fi Shu'bal Eemaan, as stated in a collection by Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Taimiya (R) titled:
"Ar-Risaalah Fee Tafseer Qaulihi Ta'ala LAA ILAAHA ILLA ANTA". The author is, Al-Hussayn Ibn Al-Hasan Alhalimi (RH). He was explaining the statement of Ibn Taymiyyah (RH) with regards to OPTIMISM (the opposite of pessimism), expected of a Muslim to ve it entirely in Allah.
Al-Hilmi (RH) classified that pessimism into 4 forms, (1) attaining what to desire, (2) hoping to keep it after it has been attained, (3)hoping to keep away all that is disliked (4) hoping to see the end of whatever has been disliked if it has occurred already.
He says, all these must all be returned to Allah. The continuous feeling of pessimism by a Muslim is sure something the prophet (SAW) dislikes. The same "Tashaa'um" is what was reported in the Musnad of Imam Ahmad & others, from Abu Hurayrah (RA), that:
"The Prophet ( SAW ) used to like optimism and detest pessimism". Bad-Omen is sure a belief, an act that believing in may take one out of Islaam. In his Tafseer, Ibn Kathir (RH) explained verse 87 of Surah Yusuf, that it is a quality of a believer to never give up nor despair.
Pessimism is a human thing & yes we fall into at different times in our lives because we are human. However, it is never a trait that or attribute that should be encouraged, as reported in a Hadith in Ibn Majah. As to your call on scholars or those who claim to be,
even as an enemy of truth, you will agree that the @PenAbdull is a scholar Alhamdulillah, and his Daawah extends even beyond social media. Of all people, you are in the least position to tell him or anyone how to do it. I am sure you know I am neither a scholar nor claim to be,
of course except in petroleum engineering, which I am authoritatively one ( Wa laa Fakhr🙃). The message of Islaam is clear & unambigous for those that wish to learn it. Speaking about it & conveying the message? "Li dha waladatniy Ummee". We will continue to do it if we live.
Focus on your own Qiyaamah, as precisely you are in an equal position to fear worse than you claim to fear for others.
