I’m at Gateway International Bridge in Matamoros-Brownsville where some immigrants, like this mother and her 10 yr old son, are asking CBP to let them into the US after the 9th Circuit blocked the Remain in Mexico policy. 
An @INAMI_mx official who was speaking with CBP is telling the woman to leave the bridge because she already has a court date. She told him MPP is illegal. He took her picture and walked away.
More immigrants in MPP are showing up at the bridge. They’re unsure of what to do or what’s going to happen. They say people at the camp are also restless and desperate for information.
Just spoke with Elias Rodriguez, CBP spokesperson at the bridge, who said they’re not allowing anyone through.

A Cuban asylum-seeker brought a copy of the 9th Circuit decision with him to the bridge.
I counted about 60 people in MPP currently at the bridge waiting.
And they just closed the port.
CBP reopened the Gateway International Bridge after doing an exercise on the bridge.
People are starting to leave the bridge after being told the Mexican Marines were on their way to forcibly remove them. But haven’t seen any Marines.
Only a few people left on the bridge. Groups of CBP and Border Patrol agents are still on the bridge as well, but it’s calm.
Statement from CBP “We have issued the cessation of processing under MPP per the injunction. However, we are continuing to utilize every tool at CBP’s disposal to ensure the integrity of our immigration system and processing programs.”
