1/10) I witnessed 1984 Delhi pogrom & covered 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots for a media house. Here’s what I picked up from a 2-day visit to #DelhiRiots areas, based on my conversations with locals in Seelampur, Brajpuri, Shiv Vihar, Mustafabad etc 
2/10) All Muslims feel AAP councilor Tahir Hussain is being framed. Kejriwal played a party to the vicious media campaign against him and he has shown his RSS/Khaki knickers. But he will be acquitted in court #DelhiRiots
3/10) Hindus say Kejriwal chose to visit Rajghaat when police was not responsive to their calls. A BJP govt would have acted to save “Hindu Victims”. He is a Muslim sympathizer and they won’t vote for him #DelhiRiots
4) Muslims say attackers came from outside (all masked), but couldn’t have operated without local help as the attacks targeted Muslim houses/shops only. They admit some Hindu families helped #DelhiRiots
5/10) Hindus concur 1st round of attacks came from unknown (outsiders) mobs carrying firearms but in 12 hours Muslim youths gathered, retaliated. The victims were local Hindus. Attackers used anti-Muslim, anti-Hindu slogans #DelhiRiots
6/10) Victims said Hindu mobs came in hoards, set houses/shops on fire & disappeared. Buses waited for them as logistic support to flee. Rumors of 120 children and women abducted from a local mosque are rife #DelhiRiots
7/10) Eyewitnesses said Muslim rioters created formations at critical intersections, with stolen barricades, and held it for 72 hours. Expert guidance was there. Attacks, robberies on Hindu setups came at night #DelhiRiots
8/10) Jehangir, our auto-rickshaw driver, said he is left with only two things: his auto and the pair of clothes he is wearing. His house, savings all gutted. Ostensibly, the ratio of victims is 70% Muslims, 30% Hindus #DelhiRiots
9/10) Hindus feel outsiders attacked Muslim households but the brunt of retaliatory attacks was borne by local Hindus. Thankfully, there were incidents of Hindu and Muslim families shielding one another #DelhiRiots
10/10) Last: Sikh volunteers from Gurudwaras are providing essential food items to victims. Queue of women running after & lining up behind their vehicles is heart-wrenching #DelhiRiots
