Good Lord these young "Intersectional" Feminists.

They don't even get that they're abusing elder women on behalf of the capitalist patriarchy they claim to hate.

The literal opposite of capitalist patriarchy is Marxist Feminist. The women they despise.

Again, this was a rhetorical question, because clearly I know the answer - that Wokism is a neoliberal/corporate/technocratic ideology.

But how do they not see it? It's not even about Critical Theory. It's just plain old neocon capitalism in a colourful wig.

The only real explanation is that it is a cult. Wokism has never been about a coherent ideology or idea. I don't think blaming Critical Theory is the answer. This is an internet-fueled cult that borrows ideas from everywhere & doesn't make any sense.

Honestly, I think that trying to argue with Critical Theory gives Wokism WAY too much credit. It's like trying to include Scientology as an equal/alternative theology to Christianity.

It gives it way too much status/credit.

Wokism is just an internet cult that has taken over.

This is the issue I have with those who put the blame sorely at the feet of Critical Theory - I don't believe that is entirely fair either.

Coming from the Humanities, it most certainly has a valid place/role.

Critical Theory/Postmodernism is no more to blame than Feminism, Marxism, Socialism, Economics, or anything else that it borrows from.

I think we are trying to attach coherence to something that is actually incoherent. Assuming people even know the concepts.

It's just a cult.

Whilst yes, you can argue that Critical Theory has planted a lot of seeds - I'm not convinced. Again, giving it too much credit.

At its core, its anti-intellectual. So attacking it intellectually is not how we can win.

The fact is that we cannot argue intellectually or rationally with a movement that is largely driven by emotions and kindness - however misdirected.

And yelling at cult members never, EVER works. Drip feeding them dissonance does.

Maybe when engaging Wokefems, you try to approach them like you would a member of Scientology. Very, VERY carefully & with empathy. And remember, they're subject to Mind Control. Don't hit them with facts because THE CULT already has built-in objection handling, remember.

A big part of why cults use Milieu Control is so that its members can't access the truth. That's why radical feminists are silenced, demonised, because we are the people who are most likely to persuade. It's a twisted compliment really.

Anyway, I'm not saying that these women don't have agency, but also, cut them some slack. There are extremely powerful forces at play here and I see how easily it is to fall into. I did briefly and I KNOW my theory. many don't. They mean well & legit think they're being kind.
