I think if you built an amazing business from the ground up as Bloomberg and Bezos have, you are not inherently evil. BUT, in a world where tens of thousands of people die daily from starvation, you must be a major philanthropist like Bloomberg. Bezos is indeed evil.
I honestly don't understand this need to rehabilitate billionaires. Look at how Bezos treats his workers. What is the function of all his obscene wealth when his workers have to pee on the floor because of the way he treats his workers. And what about Ivanka Trump's factories?
We are taught to punch down instead of up. Protecting the ruling classes has been inculcated since feudal times. Being a billionaire is not inherently evil. But when a society prioritizes billionaires when people are hungry and homeless--that is ammoral.
