You're not 18 anymore.
You can't go and do 10 sets of bench press without any war-ups.
Remember: You're no good to anyone if you're injured, and you're not going to be burning any calories.

Why?
When you're in the gym >1 hour, cortisol goes up. Which is bad news for your testosterone as a Man Over 40.
