This is insane. Beyond telling the guy he’s “full of shit” Biden gets in his face and then says something about “take this outside.” Mainstream media can’t run cover for this much longer.

Anyone know who the man is? Would love to have him on the show.

I’ve been saying 25% chance DNC hands it to Hillary at convention. Now I think it’s 33%. And if you vote Biden you’re voting for the VP, so at the moment you have no idea who you’re voting for.

Trying to make sense of the coronavirus is getting increasingly difficult. The mainstream media destroyed our communal sense making so we are left fending for ourselves. Now clickbait has infected many of the online people who made some sense of last few years.
Couple this with an election year (“Trump is mishandling it” from the same people who got everything else wrong) and identity politics (“calling it Wuhan Virus is racist!”) is driving us towards a place that strikes me as more dangerous than the virus itself.
The incentive structure is out of whack. Political gains, clicks and eyeballs are hyping madness while most decent people try to go about living their lives. We stocked up on emergency supplies this weekend more bc of panic than virus. Will do my best not to add fuel to the fire.

This will be my first ever live tweeting of a Democratic Debate from a plane. In honor of Bernie Sanders’ Socialist platform, I will personally walk up to first class and pour a cup of hot tea on a rich person every time Bernie says “billionaires.”
Look at them sitting there behind their fancy curtain, watching whatever movie they want with their extra leg space. Bernie is the only one who can stop them!

Mainstream media is the problem. 3 lessons from this weekend: (1) If MSM sees details of a policy, it will tear it apart. But, if it does not see anything, it will take its supporter's word for what it does, even if it's impossible & otherwise absurd in the context of supporter.
MSM spent weekend focused on the most extreme aspects of Green New Deal or some side debate over talking points on a website. Seeing details should signal seriousness of the effort, but MSM gets bogged down in the negative interpretation or salaciousness of details.
Conversely, Republicans spent 8 years claiming to have a magical healthcare plan to replace ObamaCare. It would cut costs, raise coverage, and there would be a unicorn in every driveway. MSM was gullible Americans were shocked in 2017 when Republicans had no replacement to OCare.

I think the full bore propaganda press kicked in on this issue because right wing noise artists knew that mainstream media, which is run by a disproportionate share of white men with privileged backgrounds, has a weakness for accepting excuses for prep school bullying.
And the victim in this case was a Native American and not another prep schooler, like Christine Blasey Ford, who was harder for privileged legacy media types to dismiss.
