1/ How do I try and cheer myself up? I go #cycling and take photos of some favourite local hairpins: 
2/ All the photos are on the steep side of Mont Salève between Le Coin and Col de la Croisette
3/ Very steep averaging above 11% for 4.5 middle kms
4/ It's my Wednesday night club ride. (I may need to do it again this evening)
5/ The monster in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein climbed the cliffs of Mont Salève: “I thought of pursuing the devil; but it would have been in vain, for another flash discovered him to me hanging among the rocks of the nearly perpendicular ascent of Mont Saleve … ”

Above Col de la Croisette it becomes less steep, continuing to Panorama des Alpes (with a panoramic view of the Alps) .... there were clouds today blocking the Alps, but here's an old photo where I am at least wearing the same kit as today ---
