Didn't receive a response from #Texas Dept of Public Safety regarding my drivers license renewal. Notified I would have to renew in person...not online, but I did happen to see this posted under an unrelated topic: State extends the expiration date of some driver’s licenses 1/2
In an effort to fight spread of #coronavirus & keep people out of long lines in state facilities, #Texas Dept of Public Safety said Sunday it’s extending expiration date of all driver’s licenses to 60 days after end of the disaster declaration in the state of Texas #DPS #TXDPS
The decision applies to any #Texas driver’s license, personal ID card, commercial driver’s license or election identification certificate that expires on March 13, 2020 or later.
