Yep. I'd add that, for those able to do it, projecting normalcy helps to provide anchors to others who have heightened need for it at present.

(And some of the social institutions they'd normally get it from are extremely adversely impacted.)
One of my sharpest memories from 2011 was getting a call from the bank branch manager early on Saturday morning after the earthquake on Friday.

He was calling every business his branch banked to let them know, among other things, it'd be open exactly on time on Monday morning.
(The other thing he said was approximately "I know you have clients in Tokyo [which was severely affected by the earthquake] and if you need money, come on by, I can get it for you and we can [figure out the paperwork] later.")
