That the coronavirus has reduced air pollution, water pollution and so on DOES NOT demonstrate that "wE'Re tHE ViRus", people are the problem or any other number of absurd eco-fascist conjecture.

Capitalism is shutting down. It demonstrates that capitalism is the problem.
If you accept these eco-fascist lines, you are paving the way for the largest programme of eugenics this planet has ever seen. It is already in motion ("only the vulnerable will die" = fascist apologia).

Not one death is acceptable.
Not one step forward for the reactionaries.
The idea that this is "just people's fault" is demonstrated as absurd when one examines the observation being used to support it here.

Coronavirus has not eliminated humanity in these places. It shut down capitalist production and consumption.
So, like, this blew the fuck up?

Hi I make documentaries through @ProlekultFilms. This one is on why socialism is the only solution the climate crisis and how capitalism is exploiting it. #SocialismorExtinction
They really did make so many of you hate yourselves because you bought the things that this society told you, day in and day out, to buy huh?

Communists love humanity and we demand you start loving yourselves enough to prevent it all from crumbling
Regarding solutions. Here is an open letter against population control which includes a preface on how to resolve the matter with socialism.

We are still urging people and orgs to sign it.
Can't quite believe this needs to be said but ok: people are not capitalism. Capitalism is an historical social organisation of production. Yes, the system is made up of people but the view that it is a synonym for humanity is completely ahistorical and a product of conditioning.
Why?

First of all, we existed in numerous other formations *before* capitalism.

Secondly, to say that capitalism = people is to equate those who rule (the capitalists) and those who they oppress (literally everyone else). They have the power and this rhetoric only enables them.
The problem *is not* raw population size and the raw consumptive needs of this population. The problem is how we produce ourselves. This is really quite easy to see when you look at the difference in impact between worker and capitalist even in the West.
The capitalist mode of production is irrational. Different capitalists produce goods for competition on the market and only for this purpose. As such, economic planning is impossible.

Socialism centralises production in the hands of a workers' state, those allowing planning.
The argument is, thus, not that socialism will magically do away with all this climate change, but that it is the only system which can. We *need* rational planning and democratic ownership of the productive forces if we are to survive. It is a necessity.
And this has already been proven. Despite all the fine words and Paris agreements, capitalism is exponentially increasing its destruction of the environment.

Socialist Cuba, on the other hand, is the only environmentally sustainable nation on the planet.
The only other really common things is just like "fuck communism you evil bastard" type stuff.

Oh dear.

How dare we want the human species to survive.
