people asking me if i had any coloring book style things for hanging out stuck inside, so, before i hop into packing up prints and work today 'm going to get some of that together this morning. i'll just post as i go in this thread, and theyll be here:

normally i only release really finished tight things, unless its on patreon, but ill relax that here because i thought this set of images was perfect for our unique indoor time situation, especially if you have kids and are of a theological persuasion (how could you not be)
this is from a book i'm working on where tiny bishop tells the stories of saints from a medieval book called the golden legend. this is the start of the story of st. eustace, wherein he gets converted from paganism via a vision. it's on my site as a pdf to print for coloring. 
he's one of my favorite saints and, he's kind of a cool one to look at with kids because he's pagan and gets converted, theres other art you can easily find of this vision he has, he's associated with hunting and hunting laws because of it, lots going on.
those are just mock ups for the book so thats all i got now but, you could have kids find out the rest of the story from there (as if you need me to tell you this). heads up he gets pretty brutally martyred with his family at the end so, up to you how and if you discuss that.
his story is pretty cool, his kids get taken by wild animals and then he doesnt recognize them when he sees them again (something like that) (kind of a loose parallel with joseph and his brothers -> taken away and not recognizing people, if ur trying to go full sunday school)
i dont have my notes with me here so don't quote me on that, make ur kids look it up honestly. if ur on patreon i posted these images there last year. anyway gonna get a few more things together now...

theres 2 of the tapestry images in case one is too small. these werent made for kids obviously but if u have kids they would work for them, as long as u screen them ofc. some cool tie ins for kid learning like, the last one is God from a medieval book of hours, what is that? etc
used to do some art lesson-y stuff with kids so, in case you are with kids inside some jumping off points could be:
- the first image of birds here is based on matthew 6:26. what images and symbols are used in the bible? can you find other ones? what do these symbols mean, etc

last one is god the father from a book of hours. questions like, how is god represented in art? why? some traditions don't do this, is there a reason for that? how representations change through time. doesn't have to be formal, you could even look into it together.
wikicommons has a lot of good high res art stuff on it. anyway used to be around kids a lot so cant really turn that part of my brain off, just thought i'd throw those ideas out there. gotta hit some work stuff for a while so ill post more later or in the next few days.
