1/9 If anyone thinks that mass lockdowns in the US will hold, they have no idea what’s heading their way: Compete outrage on Social Media; pockets of unrest (riots) and a spike of suicides by people who lost their jobs/freedom. At that point, officials will say “ok ok. Go out but
2/ wear gloves and masks; wash your hands more and try avoiding large groups.” How long it will take until the ease up, I don’t know but South Korea did not do anything close to the rapid lockdowns that we are seeing now across the globe. Too many officials are mimicking
3/ each other without thinking what will work best for their country/state/city. I have been tweeting for weeks that Italy melted when they had only 1,000 cases so the lesson should be to first up the hospital/healthcare capacity! But most of the focus is on lockdowns.
Another thing seen from Italy is that the overwhelming number of deaths are in seniors. This does not mean that there isn’t issues with younger ages but the vast majority of cases that turn into ICU (and then deaths) are seniors, so the lockdown focus should first be on seniors.
5/ But no. The focused was first on schools/gyms. There is zero balance in the planning by most officials. The idiots are busy with #flatteningthecurve but few of them are taking into account that much of the curve is a result of increase testing. If you test every day 2K more
6/ people in total than you did the day before the curve will grow steeper because you test at a faster rate! If you cut testing, the curve will (artificially) flatten. The better way to count is to see what percentage of tests come back positive/negative. But even this is flawed
7/9 because it is not like every practitioner gives tests only after the patient goes through a scientific process. When patients say they feel symptoms, a test will likely be given even if it is just in the head of the patient. Anyway. Ignoring the test count is also being done
8/9 local/regional media reports about Orthodox Jews in Kiryas Joel (Orange County), Lakewood (Ocean County), and in Brooklyn. “Oh look at the spike in cases.” They heeded the advice of gov officials so they went for testing. Hence you see a spike in cases! At any rate,
9/9 regardless what the idiots do, make sure to avoid crowds; wash your hands more often and don’t touch every surface. Also, make sure your home has the needed goods/food in case you get locked in by the freak meisters running the circus. Contact loved ones more often too. Enjoy
A local EMS in NY has released a statement begging people to stop calling for general Coronavirus questions such as about testing and quarantine, and to call only for emergencies. Thank you thin-nerved, panic-spreading freak-meisters for draining ERs, EMS amd doctors.
Thurs March 26th will be a wake up call about the economic mess these lockdowns are bringing: First time unemployment data of last week (ending March 21) will be published. At that date, I hope the #CoronaVirusDeathRate in the US will be lower too. Realignment in rhetoric coming!
The thread continues here. It addresses how leaders have no clue what is already happening economically, how their bailout plans are a joke in the face of the mess, and how this mess does not even effectively go after Coronavirus. PLEASE READ:
