OMG! The world is shutting down based in large part on Italy’s flawed Coronavirus death count. This is such a DISASTER! In essence the report says that Italy is counting Coronavirus deaths even those who have many other health issues (and were anyway on the way out).
According to Prof Walter Ricciardi, scientific adviser to Italy’s minister of health, only 12% of the listed Coronavirus deaths R Coronvirus. The rest are people who were anyway dying but also happen to have Coronvirus. Folks, we need prudent steps; not panic-driven freak shows.
Doctors in Italy are attributing Coronavirus to thousands of deaths that are not caused by Coronvirus per a comment from an advisor to the heath ministry. It was crazy all along to base so much of the global response on Italy. It now seems crazies. We need a sane approach!
