2/Amongst my friends and family is either growing fear or complete denial. Yesterday I got a phone call to confirm that my youngest son has tested positive for covid-19. He was the last in the family to have symptoms, and the only to require hospital admission.
3/ Remember only my youngest has been tested and therefore confirmed as positive for covid-19. Interpret our family symptoms with a critical eye, but I hope this is useful for clinicians and comforting for those who are worried about how covid-19 may affect them as individual..
4/ Parent 1: early 40s no co-morbidities.
Parent 2: late 30s no co-morbidities, vaccinated against flu every year for last 5 years.
Parent 2: late 30s no co-morbidities, vaccinated against flu every year for last 5 years.
5/ Child 1: 6 years, viral wheeze as infant/toddler following bronchiolitis. Not required inhalers for over 1 year.
Child 2: 3 years, ongoing occasional viral wheeze following bronchiolitis. Reducing need for inhalers over last year.
