When this is all over I hope cable news keeps interviewing people from their homes. It democratizes who can appear (ie, not just people in New York) and is frankly so much more interesting, set wise.
And you know what else is nice? Seeing humans on TV that look like humans actually look.
This also reminds me of a pet peeve about NPR, when it feels it *must* tell us when guests, even if audio quality is near-studio level, are calling in via Skype. Nobody cares! If the audio is bad b/c somebody is in a war zone, it's usually obvious why.
