Lillian (5) enters room.
Me: “Hiya Lillian!”
Lillian: “Hiya Daddy. I have a meeting.”
Me: “With who?”
Lillian: “With you, and my imaginary friend, and your imaginary friends.”
Me: “They are real friends.”
Lillian (whispers): “Not always. I know. I knoooow.”
(I sometimes use “a meeting” as excuse to shut door to decrease noise and help concentrate.)
Lillian: “We need to make money!”
Me: “Well, while that is certainly also a goal, work is also about helping people.”
Lillian: “You help people by making them money!”
Me: “Lots of ways to do that.”
Lillian: “But *you* do money!”
Lillian: “And I know it’s computer money! Not paper money! Printer only prints boring papers!”
Boring printer goes sobbbbbb.
