(1,3) As a former Dunkin Donuts franchisee, I still have many friends in the restaurant business. They are struggling. This line of thinking from the current occupant of the White House is unbelievable.

(2,3) This country's lack of preparation and current difficulty with this virus, because of WH failures, only ensure a longer and harder recovery that will result in many businesses needing to close, including friends of mine.
(3,3) That fact that this White House would look at that as ok, or as a business opportunity for others, is all of the reason that every business owner needs to know to vote against him. He will screw you in a New York minute.

(1,5) I met @JoeBiden in person in Mach 2018, just a month after my daughter Jaime was murdered. He had a room full of people waiting for him, and yet, he spent almost 45 minutes with me. No cameras, no staff. He spoke to me about grief and going forward. ImageImageImage
(2,5) After about 20 min, I reminded him about his room full of people, he said this was more important. He told me in honest ways what to expect and how unpredictable grief is. He spoke to me about my family. These photos were taken at the end of the first Dem Debate in Miami.
(3,5) At the end of the debate, @JoeBiden was on stage and saw me walking across the floor. He motioned for me to walk to the stage. Even though this was over a year later, he remembered me. He was again reaching out to me.

"Physician leaders across NYC have confirmed that they are nearing capacity regarding converting non traditional ICU space into ICU space utilizing non ICU staff."
(2,2) "Can't see how they will manage after another week of escalating cases at this rate. None have heard of plan of how to utilize federal resources. Some believe that help is not coming soon or if at all. Very grim outlook for NYC metro area."

(1,3) I am in direct communication with an ER Doc in the NYC area. This is the URGENT message I just received from him. They know longer have capacity to isolate safely. @realDonaldTrump stop fucking around with New York. Your decisions are killing people.
(2,3) "The ERs and Hospitals are being over run. Only come if you are in need of hospitalization. We have run out of the capacity to isolate safely. We need more ventilators sooner than later."

If there’s any merit to this idea, actual public health specialists, please tear out whatever is useful.
(3/x) Wuhan in late January looked a lot like NYC today. Big outbreak, hospitals severely stressed, cases coming in from all over.

Quite different from other areas in China, where outbreaks were smaller + more contained.

I understand you are planning to vote for @BernieSanders.

This is a free country, and you have the right to #vote for him. I am grateful to live in a country where we actually have a choice when we go to the #ballotbox. There are many countries where that option doesn't exist.
That there are countries were the head of government places his/her name on the ballot, no competition, and still conducts an election. Of course, in such countries, voting is actually often MANDATORY.
Did you realize that?

The result? The head of government receives overwhelming ballot box support. 80% 90% support!
