Y'all remember we're just about to remodel our kitchen? (Yes, even with all this going on.) Today, we have to make a final decision about countertops. We were all settled on matte-finish soapstone, but then saw this. Can anyone with soapstone counters share their experience? 
Suffice to say, in a household with two busy parents & two teenage boys, not all spills are going to be cleaned up "immediately." 🙄
Oh JFC. My wife just informed me that our incoming counters are *caesarstone*, not soapstone. That's what the maintenance warning above is about. (My brain is f'ing pudding.) Anyway, I enjoyed learning about soapstone! But if anyone has caesarstone, I'd love to hear about it too.
I had gotten myself all excited about soapstone, too. Sigh. Maybe it's time to go take a walk.
