We made a crucial mistake. We did not factor in that not everyone is as intelligent as you dear PM.
But it is good that some of them are listening to your videos.

Instead of trying to have a definition for essential services and goods to shut the rest down, let us do it the other way.
Identify non-essential goods and non-essential services and direct those to be stopped while allowing the rest. 5/n

See, like IT sector, or industries of certain kind, or mining of non-essential minerals, or distilleries or Govt offices and likewise.!
We start with a limited list & add on to it to make the lockdown more & more restrictive without affecting essential supplies and services. 6/n

Not that this is going to be very strict. But at least it will not leave production and supply of essential items at the mercy of lower level staff who do not generally understand the market linkage and supply chain details. 7/n
But more importantly, it has been 7 days and we have not taken any historic decisions.
We are a Govt that decides to take historic decisions every other day.
So at least for that, let’s just invert the whole order.
