There is a fine line between conserving cash and entering the death spiral. Tough to navigate. Don't stop selling.
4/ If you go into full hibernation mode - there's a chance you won't make it out. Be a bastard at cash management, cut marketing, cut any overheads, implement salary cuts across the board, forego your own salary etc

I was reminded today of the Stockdale paradox and it probably applies here. Let me expand.

1/ A little thread on how one venture capitalist thinks about the pandemic from a fund standpoint
2/ First of all stating the obvious -- this is first and foremost a global scale humanitarian crisis right now. It's staring us in the face but from (most of ) VC Twitter you wouldn't know it.
3/ My job is to manage a fund. As such my first take is to form a view on the depth of the crisis. The difficulty is that no one can model this thing. Any forecast we make is more likely to reflect our own appetite for risk and view of the future than anything else.

1/ Visited a startup yesterday that uses Kaizen / Lean aggressively; every wall of its office was covered in visuals mapping priorities and progress - I found it incredibly refreshing and invigorating

2/ The obeya (big room) has crystal clear representations of the companies foundations, strategic pillars and priorities that gave an instant visual representation of the whole business. OKR were in plain sight as were performance graphs.
3/ Across the company small side rooms, each theme was expanded into boards and kanbans, interspersed with graphics, schematics and visuals. By simply walking across the space you understood what each team was working on, what was working and what wasn’t.

My 1-on-1 coaching student from NewYork, @AnthonyGiaconia, bought this NASDAQ stock #RUN. At the time of purchase, the stock was meeting all our requirements & was resting around a rising 50DMA.

On 17th June, it broke out from 2T VCP formation & he got in at 17.05 with 1R risk
2 days later, on 19th June, #RUN fell 7.5% from days high only to close in the upper 80% range of the entire day. A drop like that must have shaken out many weak holders.

That strong closing, after the shakeout, only increased the confidence in the trade & led to his 2nd entry
