You really can't make this up.
You mean someone might seek to "undermine public trust in governmental institutions that we are all counting on right now?" Someone might put "their political ambitions ahead of the public they are supposed to serve In the midst of this crisis?" Why, that's just unimaginable!
What politician and what party would ever seek to undermine trust in governmental institutions? Certainly Donald Trump would never do such a thing!
The "source" the Oregon GOP is using for this FB post is PJ Media, perhaps best known for employing "Joe the Plumber" as a foreign correspondent in 2016. thedailybeast.com/the-death-of-p…

Look, the thing people fail to recognize is that Navarro is basing his assessment on the path breaking work of, uh, Ron Vara, a leading scholar in the field!
Sometimes it feels like we are being governed by an army of Fletch clones, only without Fletch's charm.
I mean, the President named his youngest son after a pseudonym (John Barron) he frequently used when he called reporters in the 1980s and 90s to let them know how brilliant and rich Donald Trump was.

Our government is not going to get everything right. Programs of this magnitude are going to have holes and come to life cumbersomely and awkwardly. There is no way around that and no one could do it any better. There are going to be miss-steps and do-overs.

There are going to be shortages of things and not everyone is going to get grabbed by the net the way they want. Our healthcare system is going to be stretched and strained and our economy shocked. We're going to have to rethink a lot of things when this is over.
And we're going to have to decide what sort of nation we are. We're either the kind that pulls together in a crisis, trusts the institutions and rows in the same direction, or the kind of nation in decline that splits into political camps.

The curse is very real. For those at the top of their pyramid of power who look down at all of us, justice comes sooner than they think. While we will not see all of the justice in public, trust me no sane person would want to be them right now.

Why not just go speak to the Grand Jury? Clearly, it's not about avoiding spending more time talking about the investigation and your experience...
