Press conference by #CDS Gen Bipin Rawat and three Service Chiefs at 6pm today is about thanking the #COVID2019 warriors from armed forces.

#thread On May 03 there are some special activities the nation will witness from all the three Services. @IAF_MCC to conduct flypast from Srinagar to Trivandrum and another from Dibrugarh, Assam to Kutch, Gujarat: CDS Gen Rawat #COVID2019

IAF helicopters will also be showering petals on hospitals across the country which are involved in the fight against COVID-19: Gen Rawat #COVID2019 #May03

@adgpi on its part will conduct mounted band displays along some of #COVID19 hospitals in almost every district of our country. To express solidarity that we stand by our police personnel, armed forces will also lay wreaths at the police memorial on #May03: Gen Rawat

@indiannavy on its part will be out on the seas displaying their formations. You will witness some lighting of our ships on the seashores expressing solidarity and gratitude once again on our part: CDS Gen Rawat #COVID2019 #May03

The plan of action and various activities of thanks giving from the armed forces to #COVID2019 warriors was finalized at a meeting earlier in the day presided over by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh with CDS, three Service Chiefs and National Security Advisor (NSA): MoD #May03

Schedule for flypast & activities of armed forces to express gratitude to #COVID2019 warriors:
Over national capital both fighters and transports will be seen between 1000-1100hrs. Aerial salute to b flown as low as 500m for everyone to witness it from safety of homes @the_hindu

Nation shall witness flypasts by fighter and transport aircrafts of

A total of 46 @IndiaCoastGuard ships and around 10 helicopters will take part in solidaroty efforts #COVID2019

@IAF_MCC plans for aerial salute over Delhi between 1000-1030 hrs. Fighter aircraft formations, comprising of the Sukhoi-30 MKI, MiG-29 and Jaguar will be flying over Rajpath and will orbit over Delhi #COVID2019
