Imp comment by Gen Naravane on with China border: says they r rebalancing advanced weaponry to Northern border. “At one point of time it was more towards the Western font. Now we think both borders are equally important. It is in that context that the rebalance is taking place.“

Gen Naravane on two font war: Our forces will be concentrated on the primary front and we will adopt more deterrent posture on the secondary front so that we are not found wanting... So we have formations with dual tasking which can move between the Western to Eastern borders..

Gen Naravane on #Apache attack helicopters: Six Apaches are being procured as part of follow on of 22 Apaches for IAF. The six Apaches will be with Army. Will be given to formations on Western border where the armour threat is greater.

@Boeing_In @adgpi Sharp comments by @adgpi Gen Naravane: we as armed forces swear allegiance to constitution of India be it jawan or officer… (reads oath) What this translates into is also core values enshrined in the preamble to the constitution. That is justice, liberty, equality & fraternity
