The PPP is a small business relief measure established under the CARES Act. The PPP provides forgivable loans to small businesses to cover 8 weeks of payroll, interests on mortgages, rent, and utilities.

Some Planned Parenthood affiliates applied for & received the Paycheck Protection Program while having more than 500 employees. The SBA specifies, “an entity is eligible for the PPP if it has 500 or fewer employees...”
The SBA is contacting each involved Planned Parenthood affiliate of PP’s that have more than 500 employees, explaining that they are not eligible for PPP aid. The federal government is demanding they return funds.
