I was assaulted by a White male photographer AFTER our very peaceful #PittsburghProtest. I was on FB Live. He ran away but witnesses saw him interviewed on @WPXI (Ch 11), saying he was attacked by Black people. Please help me find him. #BlacksLivesMatter #Pittsburgh

The actual #PittsburghProtest itself went very well, it was a fully, Black led and multiracial coalition of folks who came out in solidarity to seek #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd in #Minnesota and reassert that ALL #BlackLivesMatter, everywhere, even in #Pittsburgh, #Pennsylvania. ✊🏾

We arrived on Centre Avenue, almost headed to Freedom Corner (an historic site of #PittsburghProtest), but organizers received news that someone hit a patrol car, violence was eminent, so they ended the march right there. Half the marchers were still on Washington Blvd. #BLM

Next thing we know, 4-6 cavalry policemen were moving through the crowd & that caused a disturbance on top of the disturbance. Then, the cavalry were chased up Bedford Avenue. The interaction was seemed odd & unnecessary. The crowd was still VERY peaceful. #pittsburghprotest #blm

About five minutes later, we saw flames 🔥, smoke started billowing and we heard a police patrol car was on fire. 😳 (Later in my FB Live, eyewitnesses said it was a singular, young white male who did it). It was time to bounce. #GeorgeFloyd #PittsburghProtest #BlackLivesMatter

The #Pittsburgh Police arrived in riot gear and in black vehicles as I was standing there on FB Live, so I ended up catching everything on camera. It didn’t take long for things to get (more) violent and tear gas to be used. #PittsburghProtest #BlackLivesMatter #GeorgeFloyd

I got in my vehicle, got in and remained on live. I saw streets were blocked off and I could not get home, so I asked a passersby if he saw anything?. He leaned down and yelled into my vehicle that yeah, “Black people” had attacked him. 😳 #PittsburghProtest #BlackLivesMatter

I felt bad for him. He said he was attacked because he was taking pics of people spray painting a bldg. He had camera equipment with a long lens. I asked him, “Where?,” as he walked off. He came back and threw the contents of his cup in my face and vehicle. #PittsburghProtest

Everybody on FB Live saw the assault (and during the #coronavirus) and another White man named Patrick was an eyewitness. I received a text that he was the same man interviewed on @WPXI. I watched the news tonight. Please help me find him. #PittsburghProtest #BlackLivesMatter

I want to add that since I posted on Facebook, many reports have come in that this White man was harassing people and trying to stab Black people, hence the alleged “attack.” I wasn’t there, so I have no idea but his biological warfare on me was foul. #PittsburghProtest

I don’t know if this “photographer” with an American flag bandana who is proving to be a troublemaker and not taking many photos is a “thing” but we can’t rule it out.
