When I toured Eastern Turkey, I encountered many deserted building belonged to the displaced Armenians.
Now Erdogan want to wipe the remaining Greek history of Turkey
I find it hilarious that some still find Erdogan’s actions like converting #ChoraMonastery/church into mosque.
101ideological dogma: Why is not part of their vocabularies.
There are only grievances
The question now, how long can #ChoraChurch’s exquisite frescoes survive, after today’s decision to convert to a mosque?
Only #Erdogan’s most dogmatic fans will insist in praying in this church, and they will not tolerate seeing those frescoes starring at them!
Even #Iran’s Mullahs regime did not embark on similar campaign converting Christian and Jewish heritages to mosques.
#Erdogan is way ahead in his ruthless dogma.

From 2012 to date, Erdogan has never had clear political goal in Syria.
His policies has alwaysbeen reactionary in response to events on the ground 1/
At the initial phase of the Syrian civil war, #Erdogan has raised his rhetoric and openly asked Assad to step down. But he never followed his threats with clear measures or policies on the ground. 2/
Erdogan wrongly assumed that Assad will buckle under pressure and stepped down, and opened the gates for Syrian refugees to enter Turkey. He assumed they will stay for few months. He was wrong on both assumption: Assad stayed in power, and Turkey stuck with a refugees problem 3/
