Leon Black paid >$50 million to pedophile Jeffrey #Epstein AFTER his conviction.

Black’s payments included $10 million to a foundation started by #Epstein and “consulting” fees that were sufficiently unusual to draw scrutiny from Deutsche Bank(!), where #Epstein kept his accounts. The total amount sent by Black to Epstein could be as high as $75 million.🧐
#Epstein—a self-styled“financial doctor” to wealthy clients—was a college dropout who had worked on Wall Street for just a few years, had no great skill as an investor, and had no formal training in tax and estate planning.

Why would a billionaire keep paying him MILLIONS?🤢🤮
#Epstein was NOT making his money as a savvy investor.

Wealthy men, including Black and Les Wexler, paid Epstein MILLIONS for “services” that have not been disclosed.

🚨BREAKING: Eli @LillyPad's Phase 3 trial of its monoclonal antibody (mAb) treatment (in combination with #remdesivir) for #COVID19 has been paused after an independent data safety monitoring board (DSMB) noted "potential safety concerns."

Lilly's mAb for #coronavirus is similar to @Regeneron's mAb cocktail (mixture of 2 mAb's) that Trump received for his #COVID19 and then falsely touted as a “cure.” Trump also touted Lilly’s treatment and others: “We have these drugs, Eli Lilly and the others that are so good.”
Such a "pause" in large clinical trials is not uncommon and may be due to a safety issue NOT related to the mAb (e.g., participant had a stroke). The *independent* (not beholden to the company) DSMB will review all of the safety data before any new participants are enrolled.

🚨BREAKING: huge clinical trial of Johnson & Johnson’s #coronavirus vaccine has been paused with enrollment of new participants stopped due to an "unexplained illness" in a study participant.

No details yet on the nature of the potential adverse reaction.

This comes a month after a study of another #coronavirus vaccine by AstraZeneca and @UniofOxford was paused due to a suspected adverse reaction in a UK patient (transverse myelitis). The study resumed in the UK and other countries, but still NOT in the US.
The current pause in JNJ's trial was due to a pre-set “pausing rule” and now, an independent committee (not affiliated with the company) that watches over the safety of patients in the clinical trial will be convened to review all of the safety info.

Most of the $$ went thru a company called Trump Las Vegas Sales and Marketing: little previous income, no clear business purpose and ZERO employees.

The Trump-Ruffin venture wrote it off as a business expense.

This does NOT look like a legit "business expense."🧐

We have FAILED at almost every step. We had ample warning, but when the disease 1st arrived, we were incapable of testing effectively & couldn’t provide even the most basic #PPE to health care workers and the general public. And we continue to be way behind the curve in testing.

🚨BREAKING: Trump didn’t disclose a POSITIVE rapid #COVID19 test result he received *on Thursday* before appearing on Fox News when he didn’t reveal it either, instead claiming he was awaiting results.

Trump tried to #coverup having tested positive.🤬

Trump's 1st positive was a "rapid antigen" #coronavirus test (quick, not as sensitive as PCR). His 2nd, confirmatory test used PCR–amplifies genetic material from the virus (more sensitive, not as quick).

Trump KNEW of his 1st positive, but said NOTHING.
😱As the #coronavirus spread among the people closest to him, Trump asked an adviser NOT to disclose results of their own positive test. “Don’t tell anyone,” he said.

This is RECKLESS and DANGEROUS. Contact tracing #COVID19 cases is crucial to containing a #CoronavirusOutbreak.
