Sriwijaya Air of Indonesia lost contact with a Boeing 737-500 that left Jakarta on Saturday at 1.25pm local time for the city of Pontianak in West Kalimantan.
Adita Irawati, spokesman for the Indonesian Ministry of Transport, told "This Week" in Asia that the last contact they had with the SJY 182 flight was at 2.20pm local time.
We are investigating and coordinating the matter with Basarnas (a search and rescue agency) and KNKTT at this stage (the transport safety body). As soon as there are updates, we will release more information. Sriwijaya Air's members could not be contacted for comment.
There are said to be 59 passengers on board, including six children, according to the Indonesian newspaper "Republika @republikaonline". A rescue mission has already been initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Transport, @SkyNews reports.

The Nigerian millitary eliminated 28 Boko Haram terrorists in the dangerouse north eastern Area as they tryed to invade the town of Gujba on January 9th. This was part of a ongoing military operation in the area against
Daesh (ISIS) and Boko Haram. There are reports of sole escapes but according to the military most of the escapers are injured threw gunshoots as the military outolayed the terrorists. One soldier ded and one got wounded.
