Dear @DrBonnieHenry -you are a renowned expert in public health, preventative medicine + global pandemics. Spare me your cheerleading 'find joy.. be kind'. It's insulting and a waste of your expertise. Pls put enforceable orders in place to contain the spread
And again... blaming the "lunch room"...
Please provide the stats that back up this assertion...
And it would really help us have more confidence in your "suggestions" if you stopped giggling at the serious questions you are asked.
And... again... at risk of repeating myself... I don't care if you're "saddened and disappointed" when ppl don't follow your pleas about not travelling. I am disgusted at those ppl and I'm beyond disappointed that you *still* refuse to DO.ANYTHING.ABOUT.IT!

Here's the #EY full report: "Progress review of COVID-19 response in long-term care" (#LTC) in #BC - It was paid for by BC taxpayers, given to govt on Oct 20/20; and released to us, today:

I question... why it took 3 months for this report to become public? I'm guessing it wouldn't have done @jjhorgan much good in his snap election, if it were made public just days before?
Elxn aside... I find the report troubling. Please read it and let me know what you think.

The reason I ask is that -there are large numbers of people (1/4 is a figure I've heard) who do live with varying degrees of mental/emotional health issues; who might benefit from professional #MentalHealth care; who don't get it; because of the stigma and/or the expense. 2/
@JJhorgan your comment was so dismissive and demeaning to so many #BCers Among them:

I find it curious, that she went on to say (re the hockey team) that " A number of the team came back and spread it to family/work/community"
Wouldn't the same be true for students, teachers, staff at schools - who also return home - and spread it ?

Hey #YYJ #Victoria #Tree #Arborist peeps - can anyone id this conifer for me? It's in my neighbouring yard - home to generations of birdies: chickadees, nuthatches, downy woodpeckers, wrens.. and it's about to be demolished for new condo; and I'm heartbroken.
The new @CityOfVictoria #TreePreservation Bylaw calls for a fee of $2000/tree to fund the planting of a replacement tree elsewhere. (But has no provisions that I know of for wildlife protection)
