With Western militaries focusing on massive combat power thru aggregation of large platforms-tanks, guns n carrier led huge naval armadas-our adversaries invested in formidable standoff enterprise in long range precision fires, PNT sys, hypersonic veh n robust AD capacities: COAS

4 key postulates:
Combat no longer confined 2 traditional domains, expanding steadily to newer domains of Cyber, Space, electromagnetic spectrum n digital spaces. “In order to win Future Wars, mere mastery of traditional domains of Land, Sea and Air will no longer suffice”: COAS

2. The need to address threats posed by new actors both in the kinetic and non - kinetic spaces: Gen MM Naravane at @OfficialCLAWSIN

3. As adversary expands contest to grey zone, there is a dire need for modern militaries to be as proficient in competition as in hard core kinetics. Need to shed classical war n peace disposition n enhance cross Govt fusion in order to win aggressively in competitive space: COAS
