#Nasrallah: apologizes for his absence during the last few days. He has a cough... seems tired...
#Nasrallah: I was in contact with people and leaders in #Gaza every day during the last days, but I have to speak about this, then I will speak about #Lebanon and remember #Badreddine...
1/ Few important points made by Nasrallah in his interview on @AlMayadeenNews today with Ghassan ben Jeddou. The whole thread is here but beware it is a 100 tweets thread. threadreaderapp.com/thread/1343253…
2/ It is the Iranians, particularly #Soleimani, who drove the Americans out of #Iraq.
3/ Not much is known about the Iraqi resistance to the US between 2003 & 2011 because the world was busy watching civilians blown up to pieces by #alQaeda while the real resistance, the one that targeted #US soldiers, not civilians, was made by Iraqis helped by Soleimani.
Sayyed Hassan #Nasrallah will be giving an interview to @AlMayadeenNews shortly, at 8 p.m. occupied Jerusalem time. I will be live tweeting the interview.
The interview scene opens with #Nasrallah sitting facing Ben Jeddou with the photo of #QassemSoleimani in the center background.
The photo of Abu Mahdi #AlMuhandis is sitting on a table near Ben Jeddou.
RT's Afshin Rattansi interviewed Zeinab Soleimani on the anniversary of the unlawful assassination of her father #QassemSoleimani. She is truly her father's daughter.
Zeinab Soleimani: my father wasn't afraid of the Americans, they were the ones afraid of him because he stood in the way of their plans for the ME.
Zeinab Soleimani about US soldiers' presence in Iraq and Syria: America creates something and then sends its soldiers to get killed by this something they created, and they don't care for them, for their lives, they just care for more power.
"La victoire de la social-démocratie sur le communisme a été de courte durée. Au delà des partis communistes, l'ensemble de la gauche est en crise au début du 21ème siècle."
"La contribution des sociaux-démocrates au démantèlement de l'état providence et leur alignement sur les intérêts des milieux financiers les ont compromis."
1/ All these Leb politicians sitting with #Macron were lectured and humiliated. Although Macron shouldn't have this prerogative, they deserve it. They spend their time bickering when the country is in free fall. #Beirut
2/ The inertia in #Lebanon is not Hezbollah's fault, however, #Hezbollah tolerated this for a long time because it wanted to be part of the system to protect its status. It was a Faustian bargain that is coming to haunt them now, and here is where Hezbollah's sins lie.
3/ The only politician in #Lebanon who cannot be humiliated by a foreign power is #Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah. He didn't only earn respect, even from his enemies, but he showed us, as a people, what dignity is in the face of learned, interiorised, humiliation.
