ICAI: in spite of the fact that exams are scheduled to commence from July 5, it appears that no attempt was made to get the Writ Petitions listed before the #SupremeCourt, even when the Court was hearing the cases regarding CBSE / State Board Class XII exams
One of the petitions had stated that if any candidates gets infected due to appearing in exams, ICAI should provide free medical treatment. ICAI says it is " neither possible nor practical."

The bench while reserving judgment had sought to know from the Central government on whether the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) had considered the prayer for payment of such ex-gratia payments and rejected the same.
