2/ Most who are dying or are being hospitalized are unvaccinated. The vaccines don't give 100% immunity, but they are free, easy, painless and provide good protection. They also greatly decrease the impact of COVID if you do get it.

5/ What about #COVID #vaccines' adverse effects? The full list is below. There've been 346 million doses administered, so the number of adverse effects is far lower than the dangers of being unvaccinated. The USA is still only 49.8% fully vaccinated.

9/ The COVID vaccines aren't perfect, we'll probably need boosters soon, etc. But the math is very compelling. Also vaccines are how we've defeated things like smallpox and polio*. Cases are skyrocketing. Deaths are heading up more slowly, but ominously.

20b/ By my analysis, these numbers are a bit misleading b/c from Jan. 1 to Jul. 30, maybe only 33% of positives (guess) were fully vaccinated. Even then, Virginia's dead COVID victims should be about 99.6% rate #unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated. 0.4% are #breakthrough cases.

21/ Please #getvaccinated. You can't vaccinated AFTER you get sick as many beg while they are hospitalized or dying. Also as ICUs get to capacity, makeshift hospitals like this are being built. Imagine spending your last days in an awful concrete garage.
