They don’t have a plan for the day after. They are trying to obscure this reality with fluffy language.
Here’s a look at the language to defund the police, take away the mayor’s role in public safety, and give new sweeping powers to the #Minneapolis City Council — all of whom are on record in support of defunding the police.
If you ask me, voters should clearly understand if the police department will be shuttered this December.
Any plan to form a public health conscious public safety force (whatever that means) would need funding.
There is no mechanism to fund their fantasy. It is a train wreck.
This is what failed leadership looks like. On the defund the police ballot initiative (called “Yes 4 Minneapolis”) that guts the mayor’s power, current Mayor Jacob Frey (D) is signing off on it, saying the following 👇🏼
Just a reminder, a few days ago I went past the now infamous #Minneapolis 3rd Precinct police station.
Note: The decision to abandon it to what CNN called, "mostly peaceful protestors," was made by Mayor Jacob Frey.
Here's how it looks one year later.
Across the street, the #BLM flag flies in the wind, where the American flag should be.
#Minnesota and #Minneapolis doesn't need more "mostly peaceful" fire and smoke damage from dangerous progressive policies. #Yes4Minneapolis makes scenes like this more likely in the future.
When there's a fire in your home or place of business, you need these guys, not some high school debate team in the #Minneapolis City Council to discuss what psychologist to send your way.
All of this used to be obvious; it's unreal that it is no longer.
We need new leadership.
You may think, “we’ll that’s just #Minneapolis. That would never happen here.” Think again.
Progressives around the country are lined up behind these kind of ruinous policies.
Recall our current VP tweeting this as the 3rd Precinct burned.
You may ask, “how did that infantile progressive experiment work out?”
The answer is: Precisely as they intended.
Meet George Howard, recently freed from #Minneapolis jail by the same fund Kamala Harris promoted lasted year.
If people in #Minneapolis are tired of being used by their own politicians & treated like a crash test dummy for horrifically bad progressive policies on a national level VOTE FOR NEW LEADERSHIP
Rep Eric Swalwell is closing in on a hat-trick when it comes to being compromised by foreign interests. He was already sleeping with a spy from #China. Now he's meeting with shady Qatari foundations. I discussed with @Nefertari_25 on @OANN "Tipping Point."
What do Eric Swalwell and #Minnesota CD-5 Rep Ilhan Omar have in common? Their flirtation with foreign interests pose a national security threat and they serve on the House intel and foreign affairs committees, respectively. I discussed it with @Nefertari_25 on @OANN
Watch the whole segment on @OANN with @Nefertari_25 as we discuss Eric Swalwell's sucking up to foreign interests here:
A lesson here for Americans on politicizing intel.
Dems spent 4 years lying about #RussiaGate. They said Trump was their intel asset, the Hunter scandal was #Russia disinfo, and turned an international villain into a folk hero for too many on the right. washingtonpost.com/world/europe/p…
In the zero-sum politics of lies promoted by corporate media, defending Trump from hourly absurdities soon soon turned to an embrace of the various boogieman.
For example, Republicans adopted "Deplorable" after Hillary's rant.
There used to be agreement on the obvious: Russia and the US have very different interests and work at cross-purposes. And Dems were always weaker on this.
Despite the stupid Dem/Media rhetoric, Trump was far tougher on #Russia than Obama and Biden is a wet napkin by comparison.
6/1/12: @NYTimes exposed #Israel's involvement in deploying the Stuxnet virus in the Natanz facility. The story directly quoted one of Obama’s daily briefers who was in the room with the president and told him: 2/x
“We think there was a modification done by the Israelis...Obama, according to officials in the room, asked a series of questions... The answers came back in hedged terms. Biden fumed, ‘It’s got to be the Israelis,’ he said. ‘They went too far." nytimes.com/2012/06/01/wor… 3/x
Even before clicking on the NYTimes take, I’m curious how they’ll spin #Israel as the devil.
So the NYTimes version of the implications of the Israeli operation on #Iran’s nuclear facility is what you’d imagine: A bad take punctuated with worse analysis. Here’s a few examples... nytimes.com/2021/04/11/wor…
Uncertainty? This is an #Israeli gift of even more leverage the US can use with #Iran in negotiations. Iranian threats are now less powerful. We don’t need to rush into a bad deal as we currently are. Team #Biden however is allergic to leverage. There’s a reason for that:
