It should be clear by now that IOTA is not only just about IoT. Our vision has significantly broadened.

#IOTA is the foundational layer to build, connect and secure decentralized economies. That includes #Data, #Identity, #DeFi, #NFTs, #P2E, #MachineEconomy, and more.

Equipped with the biggest utility upgrade (Tokenization + Smart Contracts) coming to the IOTA mainnet, it is obvious that in 2022 #IOTA will become one of the main L1 networks.

My personal focus (and financial commitment) will be on making this a reality.

Going into 2022, our focus will be to accelerate the adoption and growth of our ecosystem. For us, only three things matter:

1. Tangible adoption on Mainnet
2. Increase the utility of IOTA and the IOTA Token
3. Empowerment of the #Ecosystem and Community

Our Objective: Increase the utility of the IOTA network, token and ecosystem. Reach 20% of Ethereum’s Daily Active Addresses by the end of Q4 2022.

This objective will help to measure our work. Right now, this would be around 100k daily addresses. I know we can deliver on this.

Going into 2022, we not only have the #IOTA token. We have an entire ecosystem of tokens and networks that will elevate us to the top.

My key message to all of you for 2022: This will be the year where we build our own success.

We have all the tools we need with #IOTA Smart Contracts, native tokens on L1, #Assembly and #Shimmer to build our own success. We no longer depend on others.

I'm very confident in where we stand right now, and that we will achieve our objectives. #IOTA is a project with a lot of history, and we will continue to make history in 2022 by becoming one of the main L1 networks and ecosystems.

That is what I'm betting all my money on.

2022 will be our best year yet. There is an entire ecosystem of builders, crypto funds, dApp teams and community members making this a reality.
