This tirth is dedicated to 22nd Tirthankar Shri Neminath. He took Diksha here, attained Kevalgyan as well Moksh on this sacred hill. 🙏🏼

Girnar hill was known as Ujjayantigiri & Revatgiri in ancient times. In #Shwetamber Jain scriptures it is also described as Neminath Parvat & the 5th Tunk of Shatrunjay hill (Palitana). Rajulmati, Pradyumnakumar, Sambkumar, Aniruddha & many saints hv attained Moksha here.

After 3 kms of ascent of 4200 steps comes the entry gate of the main Tunk of Sri Neminath. Mansang Bhojraj Tunk, Melakvasahi Tunk, Sangram Soni Tunk, Kumarpal Tunk, Vastupal-Tejpal Tunk, Samprati Tunk, Chaumukhi Sambhavnath Tunk, Footprints of all 24 Tirthankars etc are found

1st Tunk – Dedicated to Shri Neminath
2nd Tunk – Dedicated to Yakshini Ambaji
3rd Tunk – Oghad Shikhar, footprints of Shri Neminath & of Shri Sambkumar
4th Tunk – 1500 steps climb, footprints of Shri Neminath. On another rock, footprints of Shri Pradyumna kumar

5th Tunk – In the deep forest, on the high point of the mountain, footprints of Sri Neminath Bhagwan & Ganadhar Vardutt Muni are found. This is the place where Shri Neminath attained Moksh. A descent of 1500 steps leads to Sahasa van, which leads further to the foothills

All these beautiful temples at Girnar are built & repaired by devout Kings, Ministers & Merchants of the #Shwetamber community like Raja Kumarpal, Vastupal Tejpal, Sajjab Sheth, Soni Samarsinh, Shanraj & Bhumdev, Dharma Sha, Hansraj Jetha, Premabhai Hemabhai etc.
