Psychological Mimicking: “I have a friend who copies everything I do & it’s driving me crazy” 🚩 This is an unhealthy relationship. This person is not able to be them ‘self’. They may not know what to do socially or it may be more nefarious. Either way it’s a red 🚩#copycat
Naturally, there is context to these situations. If the behaviour makes you feel ‘creepy’, trust your instincts. People who often mimic, copy, repeat your words & phrases, style of dress, hair, are red flags 🚩 This is NOT normal (except teenagers)
In the beginning, they are agreeable, saying they like who you like, listen to whom you listen too & read your book too! It’s like a perfect match made in heaven, until it isn’t. It just feels too good to be true! (relationship, business partnership, job, friendship).
Healthy people have individual healthy identities apart from others. When people copy mimic or imitate you it’s naturally annoying. Put your boundaries in place immediately & see if they respect them. If they don’t, say goodbye. #boundaries #psychology #redflags #dontcopyme

The #narcissist cannot exist without their #narcissisticagents (flying monkeys), who do their work for them, participating in #narcissisticabuse by proxy. There is alot of information out there on narcissists, but little on their ‘agents’. What type of person becomes an agent?
People who resonate with a #narcissists victimhood or grievance, are highly Suggestible, easily manipulated, socially naive, lack #boundaries have blind trust in the narcissist, need a leader or to be led, are easily deceived and used. All narcissists use their audience
& people as a means of #control Their agents are not ‘human’ to them. They are viewed an ‘objects’ for their own agenda. They gossip, deceive & lie to their Agents. They may bring them on board for their ‘cause’. If an agent accepts, they are agreeing to underlying rules #Control

I feel a need to apologize on behalf of #psychology
The organisations & #psychologists have burned their profession down. Many still champion this dying spiralling wokeism, in spite of contrary evidence, for their own selfish need for relevance. This damage is likely irreparable
This toxic wokeism has infected all #Psychology Organizations. The Australian #Psychological @AustPsych Society’s ex president Bob Montgomery is a convicted sex offender in jail & the APS couldn’t even genuinely apologize 👉🏻 abc.net.au/news/2020-06-0…
Then we have the Australian Psychological Society’s one way affirmation medicalisation approach of transgendering children/teens and denial of social contagion as one factor in the 4000% increase & the silencing/harassment of psychologists who disagree 👉🏻 psychology.org.au/about-us/news-…

forensic Statement Analysis: Marilyn Sheppard's Murder
The statements made by Richard Eberling, in the Marilyn Sheppard murder investigation, are a good example of the #subconscious coming through. Quoted from the article, Marilyn Sheppard's Murder,
People say exactly what they mean!
I would like to quote a bit from one of my favorite resources,
Louis N. Eliopolis, Death Investigator's Handbook:
   Truthful vs. Deceptive Behavior
Truthful or deceitful?
•Nervous at first ; calms down as interview •Composed attitude; self assured
•Wants you to know he's innocent
•Cooperates with investigation

Forensic Statement Analysis: #Sexualabuse in the language of the perpetrator is often seen by the use of doors, lights, water & coverings. Jonbenet Ramsay was a victim of childhood sexual abuse at the hands of her father.  Statement Analysis shows the connection to "lights"
within statements and sexual activity, and "doors" to childhood #sexualabuse  Repeated studies into these two elements shows a consistent  #linguistic connection.  When taken with the belief that it is rare to lie outright, we consider: Instead of saying, "I found
my daughter in the basement closet" or something else, John Ramsey went to 'narrative' form; that is, to lengthen out information, to explain, where no explanation is needed.  In doing so, he gave us links to sexual abuse without the need to even view

#Narcissism thread 🧵 15 (more) questions to ask yourself if you are questioning whether someone is a #narcissist
1. Do they devalue, diminish, demonise or harshly judge you or act as the righteous ‘authority’ figure with you regardless of their age, status or employment? 🚩
Are they #superior? For e.g. A non lawyer preaching to a lawyer about law. 2. Are they #defensive? Do they seem only interested in trying to prove that they are right & you are wrong, in a defensive mode? 🚩They are #competitive not co-operative. Co-operation is a must #healthy
3. Do they demand #attention from you? For e.g., insisting on having the conversation when it’s convenient for them only &/or use emotional #manipulation to ensure conversation happens on ‘their’ terms? They may not answer the question, go off topic, deflect, defensive, accuse 🚩

#Suicide by Clinic-Referred #Transgender #Adolescents in the United Kingdom. Great piece here urging us to reflect upon & think about, if evidence based #science is still your thing. Biggs (2022) conclusion asks us to question #medical responsibility. researchgate.net/publication/35…
How do we know if we are acting responsibly when we are offering ‘information’? What information are we offering? What if that information is on risk for #selfharm & #suicide? As a part of our daily #dutyofcare part of the #safeguarding process?
What about if that information is relied upon when we obtain parental consent for intervention with #children & #adolescents? What if that information isn’t true, is inaccurate, exaggerated, inflated, distorted? #science
