Another nasty development yesterday evening was the reported use by #Russia of "parachute bombs" in #Kharkiv for the first time.

When a missile is dropped by parachute (picture in last tweet) it slows the descent. The bomb then explodes above ground, which gives it a bigger blast radius. The warhead if usually packed with metal submunitions, acting like bullets, which travel further, killing civilians

It does seem as though #Russia has hit a target in #Zvonetske a small village on the banks of Dnieper river, only about 20km south of the big city of #Dnipro
