⚡What #Ukraine needs asap to win the war: Air-Defense Systems. @KpsZSU
You might have seen that the US is already helping a lot. This is true. #Ukrainians are thankful a lot. But it’s not enough for 🇺🇦 to protect the whole world from a massive threat to humanity.
(1/9)
🇷🇺air force is enormous, over 10 times as large as @KpsZSU. Without sufficient anti-aircraft systems, 🇷🇺will have free reign to destroy everything – artillery, command posts, tanks and entire 🇺🇦 cities.
(2/9)
That is precisely why at the beginning of the invasion 🇷🇺 was trying hard to achieve air dominance. If they succeed, it will just be a matter of time until 🇷🇺wins the war.

The #Buk is a family of self-propelled, medium-range surface-to-air missile systems developed by the #SovietUnion and its successor state, 🇷🇺, and designed to counter cruise missiles, smart bombs, fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
(4/9)
NASAMS (National/#Norwegian Advanced Surface to Air Missile System) is a distributed and networked medium to long range surface-to-air missile defense system. #NASAMS was the first surface-based application for the AIM-120 AMRAAM (Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile).
(5/9)
It integrates 🇺🇲MPQ-64 Sentinel air defense radar and AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles with an indigenously developed Battle management C4I system called FDC (Fire Distribution Center). The FDC connected to a MPQ-64 radar forms an “Acquisition Radar and Control System” (ARCS).

The missile has a horizontal range of up to 15-25 km.
The anti-aircraft systems are responsible for protecting 🇺🇦 from cruise missiles, which 🇷🇺 has in huge quantities and has been using with complete disregard for civilians.

This military support will enable Ukraine to reclaim territory lost since February 24th and bring #Russia to the negotiating table — not as a superpower throwing ultimatums, but as a neighbor willing to make real concessions.
(8/9)
However, without additional weaponry, this #RussianUkrainianWar will become an endless bloodbath, spreading misery, suffering, and destruction.

The recently formed special forces unit of #Azov (their brothers-in-arms heroically hold the defense of #Azovstal in #Mariupol) spent two weeks on a combat mission in one of the hottest areas of the #Zaporizhya direction.
(1/4)
Despite the fact that 🇷🇺 systematically used #aircraft and #artillery, the special forces gave a decent rebuff and occupied new frontiers.
(2/4)
"The guys showed their best side", - the unit commander "Tooth" told our correspondent.
(3/4)
"We can repeat" - a sacred phrase used by #Russians over the past few years, has now taken on a completely different meaning - not the one our grandfathers put in when they defeated #Nazism in #WorldWarII.
(1/4)
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of #Ukraine, 🇷🇺 troops have repeated the crimes of the #Nazis, committing atrocities against #Ukrainian children, women and the elderly…
(2/4)
But the list of what modern 🇷🇺 inherited from #NaziGermany does not end there…
About "#Cyborgs" of #Donetskairport: "They survived, concrete did not survive." This definition best illustrates the victory of the defenders of #Mariupol. 🇷🇺 almost wiped out the city of half a million people, but 🇷🇺 does not have the weapons to break their spirits.

One of these heroes is a very young commander of the #Azov's squadron, Lev Pashko. He came to Azov in 2017, when he was eighteen, and the young man chose the nickname "#Horus" - the name of the ancient #Egyptian god of hunting, sky and war.
(2/8)
On March 26, from the side of #Gnutove, 🇷🇺 made another attempt to break through the defenses of the defenders of #Mariupol. A convoy of 🇷🇺 5 tanks and 2 IFV drove into the city. A group of guardsmen under the command of Lieutenant Pashko came out to meet 🇷🇺 .

The hero of #Ukraine Oleksandr Tsyupak was the pride of a 14th separate mechanized brigade.
(1/6)
The brothers-in-arms assure that Oleksandr wasn't only an incredible professional and the pride of a separate mechanized brigade, but also the soul of the company. So he joked, even in extremely difficult situations.
(2/6)
His #war began in April 2014, when he was urgently called up to the military unit. Then he received a difficult and responsible task: to organize a squadron-tactical group and teach people to fight.
