#Ukraine's General Staff reports #Russia is hiding Air Defence systems in residential areas of the occupied part of #Kherson.

#Ukraine claims it has hit a Russian artillery gun, MLRS and an ammunition store, positioned on the Kinburn spit.

It's the long finger of land south of #Mykolaiv which #Ukraine failed to take back with previous landings.

A woman and two children have been killed in #Kherson region.

Head of #Ukraine's President's Office, @AndriyYermak says a mortar attack by #Russia on the village of Poniativka continued the terrorism on the civilian population.

In #Irkutsk a 16-storey building under construction caught fire in the middle of the night.

Strange how many of these new constructions started to self-combust when sanctions started to kick-in!

There was a threat of collapse, which hindered firefighters.

This one is in the city of #Omsk at a restaurant and hotel complex.

The blaze raged through 1,200 square metres at one point. There was no one in the building when it also spontaneously combusted.

This piece of theatre is doing the rounds on Russian social media alleging #Ukraine using chemical weapons.

There is so much wrong with this video and the claims, it's a million miles away from being evidence.
As always, we fear what #Russia alleges, it is doing itself.

In Occupied #Donetsk, there's been an explosion.

The blast can be heard relatively close to the person filming this in the Petrovskyi district of the city.

#Russia sent thugs and agitators to foment trouble in #Ukraine. While it failed to work in Dnipro and Kharkiv, it did have the desired effect in #Donetsk.

Drone attack incoming for #Ukraine.

Suspected Iran-made attack UAVs launched in #Bryansk and heading into #Chernihiv and possibly #Kyiv oblasts. Many eastern/central regions under air raid warning.

This time we're in #Moscow region.
There seems to have been an explosion at a coke and gas plant in Vidnoe, just outside the Moscow outer ring road (MKAD)

Puts it nicely in perspective!

And #Ukraine still holds plenty of the higher ground, including south of #Bakhmut in #Klishchivka where they can continue to pick off the approaching cattle.

By the way, yesterday I wrote a note about @marta_kostyuk reaching the final of a WTA tour event for the first time. The Ukrainian is in action right now, against the Russian player Varvara Gracheva, in the Championship match in Austin, TX

#Russia's state news agency shows a missile under the wing of a MiG-31 jet.

On the R-37M long range missile are written the words "For #Bryansk" (also "for Donbas), presumably they're miffed Russian nationals waltzed across the border and caused a bit of trouble.

Already 01:30 in the morning here in Dubai and trying to stay awake until the end of that tennis match, while ensuring the reported drone attack doesn't materialise.

And she's done it! @marta_kostyuk beats Russia's Varvara Gracheva in the final of the ATX Open in Austin, to lift the first title of her career.

Kostyuk, from near Bucha, won 6-3, 7-5 and refused to shake her opponent's hand at the end of the match.

Explosions reported just now in #Dnipro.

Residents say they was more than one blast just moments before the air raid warning was sounded.

Still no confirmation yet of the explosions reported by locals in #Dnipro.

The air raid alert has now spread to much of the north of #Ukraine and about half the country in total.
Attack drones were launched from #Russia a couple of hours ago.
