The Arab youth delegations participating in the Arab Solidarity Youth Forum visited Saturday the National Museum in Damascus. sana.sy/en/?p=303218
The Director General of Antiquities & Museums, Muhammad Nazir Awad, gave an explanation on the museum which it is one of the most important international museums as well as its archaeological collections which represent various stages of the Syrian civilization.
The director added “there are over 30,000 archaeological sites registered in the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums in Syria, of which 6 are inscribed on the World Heritage List.” sana.sy/en/?p=303218
