2- IRNA quotes Iran’s diplomatic mission to UN as admitting that Tehran has finalized purchase of Sukhoi fighter jets from #Russia. The mission says Iran’s intention to buy Russian jets dates back to late 1980s, reiterates 🇷🇺-🇮🇷 military cooperation not related to Ukraine war.

4- ISNA reports Iraq has released $800 million of Iranian frozen assets in past 2 months and continues. A member of Iran-Iraq chamber of commerce claims the US allowed Iraq to unfreeze $500m more. He says Iraqis put Iran’s frozen assets at $18B but CBI says it us 10B.

6- Deputy president for political affairs M. Jamshidi says restoration of ties with regional countries has been a priority for Raisi’s government. He speaks of a crisis of trust btw Tehran and Central Asia countries, that’s why Iranian diplomats first focused on that region.
