At 03:30 #Russia started attacking again.
#Ukraine's Defence forces now say ALL 18 missiles were shot down.
The list includes 6 of the feared Kinzhal ballistic missiles, fired from aircraft, plus 9 Cruise missiles launched from the Black Sea.
9 drones (6 attack) were also hit.

It appears so far there were no direct hits from #Russia's latest mass missile attack.
There has been some relatively minor damage from debris crashing to earth. For example in #Kyiv zoo there was a lucky escape - no people nor animals were hurt.

That's now 8 concerted attacks on #Kyiv by #Russia this month alone.
My analysis is it's a sign of real desperation from the Kremlin. They need to destroy Patriot systems otherwise they will lose the war. Moscow is likely now nearly into its reserves of missiles.

At 10pm last night flammable liquid was poured on the outside and set alight. The fire was quickly extinguished, but the assailant escaped.

The exiled mayor of #Melitopol' who has good contacts throughout #Zaporizhzhia oblast, says residents reported the blasts, which happened around 5am and 10am.

Normally I wouldn't repeat blatant propaganda, but there is a video which suggests an air-defence system (not necessarily Patriot) may have been hit.

Emergency services had to bring in a helicopter to help fight a huge fire in #Moscow today.
A storage area with pressed paper went up in flames in the south-west of the city. No casualties reported.

I'm back after a lengthy break on tennis duty, and I was going to write there have been no major incidents this afternoon.
However news just coming in of multiple explosions in #Mykolaiv. Two blasts were heard before air raid sirens were active. At least one woman's injured

#Ukraine still won't comment on whether a Patriot air defence systems was destroyed in today's missile attack by #Russia. An unnamed source within US Security says the system is likely damaged but not destroyed.

Governor of #Mykolaiv posted this photo following the Russian rocket attack on the city. There was a fire in the Inhulskyi district after the missiles hit; one woman was injured.
