Less than 15 months after choosing to start this war, #Russia has seen its total dead soldiers pass 200,000*

Daily losses are over 600 again and vehicles, special equipment and artillery systems again are well up on average.

Last night I reported on the missile strike in #Mykolaiv (RU: #Nikolaev)

Here's the video of the scene from Emergency Services. Two cruise missiles exploded in the city with a supermarket and a car dealership among the places damaged.

#Russia reports another drone attack on a border checkpoint.

They sau 2 explosive devices were dropped at #Shebekino in the #Belgorod region.

The administrative building of the border checkpoint caught fire, but was reportedly put out with no injuries.

To the rear of the frontline, #Russia ois moving massive amounts of equipment around, presumably using intel (or guesswork) to prepare for #Ukraine's adfvance.

The occupiers are carrying out a mass transfer of equipment .

These were heading north of #Mariuipol and to #Polohy.

Despite #Russia's likely (at least partial) hit on a Patriot air defence system, Britain's daily update still says Putin's embarrassed by recent failures

#Russia says a #Ukraine drone crashed near #Kaluga, around 340km from the border.

It's an ancient Soviet-era Tu-141 "Swift" model, but the Russians say the reconnaissance equipment had been replaced with explosives and an additional fuel tank.

The Terrorist State is also claiming that #Ukraine tanks have fired on #Russia's territory for the first time.

Media report is was a T-64BV or T-72B model, firing 12 x 125mm caliber shells. They allegedly fired on a farm in #Stary, just over the border from #Kharkiv.

Another arson attack affected the railways in #Russia this morning.

It's the third similar sabotage in just days in the Leningrad region. Again, a relay cabinet was set ablaze, this time nearthe town of #Vsevolozhsk.

#Ukraine is slowly being forced back in #Mariinka.

Thr frontline town, just 20km from #Donetsk, remained a stronghold for the ZSU for 9 years.

Now though #Russia claims another push as Ukraine rotated troops and say they control all but 1km of territory in the town.

After the hit to a Patriot air defence system #Ukraine has clamped down further.

I refused to show the video of the firing from the Patriot and subsequent hit on it. The Security Service has blocked more online cameras and reminded perpretators they can be jailed for 8 years.

#Russia has hit another hospital in #Ukraine.

Another morning of intense shelling saw a multi-storey residential building hit in #Kherson and the hospital targeted a few miles away in #Beryslav.

Walls and windows of both buildings were badly damaged.

The statement by #Russia about its "near capture" of #Mariinka (see earlier post), I think it may have been to undermine this post I found from a military commissar. He wrote this morning of an immiment retreat of the invaders back to #Donetsk.

#Ukraine's counteroffensive around #Bakhmut continues.

🇺🇦 Armed Forces advanced another 500m according to spokesman Serhiy Cherevaty.

Meanwhile Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar staes "we have not lost a single piece of land of the 20 sq km liberated in recent days."

#Hungary's Foreign Minister explained why they're blocking aid to #Ukraine.

He said Budapest will continue to stop EU military tranches to Kyiv until it lifts sanctions on OTP Bank.

#Russia has charged some of the scientists who helped invent the "indestructible" kinzhal missile, with treason!

All the Kremlin will say is the three are accused of "very serious" wrongdoing. The trip published a book on their work in 2016.

#Russia has killed another child in a #Kherson village.

Heartbreakingly her father is said to have carried the girl to hospital in his arms but doctors could not save her.

A rocket landed next to a store in #Zelenivka. Two other people were injured.

#Czechia has terminated an agreement with #Russia which dated to Soviet times.

The Russian will no longer be able to use land in the Czech Republic for free.
