Hello, Connections! Welcome back to my weekly column #ATHCOriginal #AskATHC. Today, I want to discuss a rather controversial topic—#Women.

#UnitedShowbiz #Gender #eqyality #Education #womenempowerment #TedTalk #Inspiration #Movies
Last week, I discussed #ContentWriting, but today's topic is different. Before going further, I want to declare outright that I am not a feminist or atheist. I am just a pragmatic, who sees a glass & water as two distinct things rather than seeing it half-empty or half full.
World has moved forward. Girls have gone to space! But culture, religion, ethics, & social evils continue to haunt girls worldwide. I don't want to talk about India, you've plenty of cases where women face atrocities almost every single day here. #RuralIndia #WomenLifeFreedom
*Abortion is still banned in many places across the US, which shows how so many people are still living in the dark ages. *Over hundreds of women died in recent clashes in IRAN in their defiance to put on HIJAB. #REFUND #Freedom #Emancipation #Empowerment #Girlfights
*In countries like PAKISTAN and NIGERIA, girls don't have access to study at schools and colleges the way boys do.

*Girls have always been a tool of war since time immemorial. Girls were badly tortured, physically assaulted and even murdered during wars. #WorldWars #Vietnam
For record, you can check what happened and how women were affected during Vietnam War, World Wars and other wars.
*Just because girls have "Reproductive Power," they r relegated to the status of a "baby-producing machine" in many underdeveloped countries especially in Africa.
*In several countries girls are killed either at WOMB or after they are born, which represents the dual heinous crimes of "INFANTICIDE" and "FOETICIDE." *Prostitution is legal in many countries, but illegal human trafficking badly impacts the morale and well-being of women.
*Lastly, believe it or not, all religions have directly or indirectly tried to control or subdue women in various ways. I don't want to go into details. Everyone knows how!!
Be it visiting a "place of worship," wearing "clothes all over the head to toe" or "not having the capacity to take part in the funeral process," Girls have been barred from living the way they want. Freedom is not given to them! #girlsInICT #BetiBachao #StopDowry #stopbullying
*Some more atrocities that you should know about: female genital mutilation, child marriage, Horror Killings, and domestic violence. *Globally, as many as 38% of murders of women are committed by a male partner. [https://reliefweb .int/]
*Between 80 and 100 million girls are ‘missing’ from the world’s population – victims of gender-based infanticide, femicide, malnutrition and neglect. So, in the 21st century, do you think that it should go like this? Is it, not the time to call spade and spade and be rational?
Though things are surely changing for good, lots need to be done. The first step begins with you. Ok, guys, I'll be back with another exciting episode next week.

Hi All,

I've recently completed a free online course on leadership from Coursera. Its course curriculum has been designed by IIM-A!

Though I came to know about various aspects of leadership through this course, I still perceive it as a completely different ballgame altogether.
Instead of what management experts and leadership gurus feel—no I'm not saying they are completely wrong—I've just a different way of seeing things.

My perspective on leadership is slightly different.
If you've read this post so far, please bear with me for a minute or two to clarify my viewpoints on leadership.

For your help, I'll provide my perspective in bullet points so that you can understand it better.
