I spoke at Hofstra University last night & a young trans girl thanked me for being the only other trans woman on campus for those few hours.
I was floored, but her story as the only out trans woman mirrored my college experience and my HS experience.
Coming out is a radical act for many. The price of visibility can be immense. Never ever take anyone’s journey to loving themselves lightly.
It’s never too early or too late. Your life is yours.
