The entire USP of Theresa May's govt was to be more competent than Corbyn. That's it. That's all it's got. And it's blown it.
Tory govts don't ask to be loved. They don't aim to be nice. They sell on brisk competence; the idea that they can manage stuff, add up..
..& generally not trip over own shoelaces. This one is now demonstrating incompetence bordering on active contempt for its voters.
Mixing up aid with defence policy,personal ambition & being nice to donors. Cavalier mistakes.Creepiness.Untruths. & on top of all that..
..being too scared to tell voters that the Brexit they want doesn't exist, which ultimately matters more than all the other stuff.
& the worst of it is that outbreaks of uselessness within govt do not magically make oppositions more competent.
