I can appreciate another lonely soul. You definitely have lived through far more than I ever have. As to why, another name for God is the Author of Life. Therefore, if God is an Author, He must love a good story. You have one of the most amazing. Thank you for sharing. 👍
My own story is not nearly so dramatic or traumatic as yours. Diagnosed w ADHD (ADD back then), I've never felt like I fit in. Parents didn't understand me. Bullied and beaten up mercilessly from kindergarten to 8th grade. Picked on still in high school. (1)
Never really found a place where I felt like I belonged. I was finally happy when I met my future wife. Having my own debt for my compulsive stupidity, it took 7 years to save up enough to give her the wedding I felt she deserved. Best 7 years of my life. (2)
However, her mom died while we were engaged. This set off anxiety and depression in her. She was on medicine to help it for a while but now loads medicine and will not be on it. We have three kids who I love and I still love her but she doesn't look at me the same anymore. (3)
It seems odd to have a wife and children in the still feel alone yet that's where I find myself. It doesn't matter how we come to our loneliness. There's no degrees. What I found is sharing tends to help. I definitely see why you do this on Twitter Thomas; it's like therapy (4)
And when you share, it inspires others to do so as well. Thank you for being you, and may your loneliness never get the best of you. Loneliness can make people do stupid things, so I pray for sanity for all the lonely Souls out there. (Fin)
