4/ My sense from the brief Roy Moore introduction and speech we just heard is that he and his team have misread the law in Alabama. They're counting write-in votes in order to claim a recount has been triggered. But it doesn't work that way.
5/ That said, the Alabama Secretary of State is saying that Roy Moore can pay for a recount if he wants.
6/ Moore's team and the Alabama SoS are also mentioning military votes and provisional ballots but presumably that would only be the military ballots that didn't arrive in time.
